These include meditation, breathwork, intuition development exercises, group mediumship sessions, inner child work, embodiment + co-creation. Intuitive coaching Laurie channels personalized messages to help you break the cycles keeping you stuck. These sessions are raw, real, and often exactly what you didn’t know you needed to hear. Somatic release practices To move the emotional backlog you’ve been carrying and finally exhale. WHAT TO EXPECT About the Day: This retreat is a guided reset for the woman who’s tired of holding it all together. It’s a space to stop over-functioning, overthinking, and over-performing—and finally drop into what your body and soul have been trying to tell you. You’ll be led through the exact modalities that helped Laurie break cycles of burnout, emotional suppression, and self-abandonment. But there’s no expectation to share or show up in a certain way. You’re in control of your own depth. You can stay quiet, go inward, or fully participate—whatever feels safest for you. Every emotion is welcome here. Whether you’re carrying grief, anger, confusion, or nothing you can quite name, you won’t be asked to make it make sense. This space is built to hold the parts of you you usually hide—the ones that are tired of being managed. Register Now Frequently Asked Questions I’m not good at resting, is this for me? This is made for you! High-functioning women often struggle to receive support because they learned to associate safety with self-reliance. Asking for help can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even threatening to their sense of stability. Even when support is offered, the body may not know how to relax into it. This is what I will teach you and guide you to understand on retreat! I’m thinking about coming alone…is this ok? Absolutely! YES YES YES! Going to a retreat alone can be extremely powerful and transformative. Common feedback we also receive is the welcoming, safe and connected vibe we create and the relationships you create on retreats sometimes turn in to lifelong friends. I’m not too experienced in meditation, breathwork, yoga or mediumship…is this ok? Another big YES! We welcome women of all levels and complete beginners too! Retreats are a great place to learn or to solidify established practices and routines. Is there a what-to-bring list? Yes, a retreat information email with all this information will be sent out closer to the retreat date. What if I have dietary restrictions? We are able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Being the strong one is often a nervous system adaptation rather than a personality trait. It can develop in response to environments where emotional needs were minimized, where others relied on you too soon, or where vulnerability didn’t feel safe. This does not mean something is wrong
